Letter: NHS care is first rate
We were very surprised to read the report that said that the care at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital was not up to standard.

My husband was diagnosed with bowel cancer about three weeks before Christmas. Since then he has had a scan, tests and an operation.
From day one the treatment, care, information and follow up we have both had has been exceptional and a simple thank-you to Mr Schofield's team and the staff on Ward 26 doesn't seem enough.
Other departments may be struggling more, but I honestly think there is very little wrong with the care side of the NHS in this country.
