Heaven 17 singer Glenn Gregory today described the "great feeling" at performing their songs as the band prepared for concert in Shrewsbury featuring the sounds of the 80s.

The band will be joined by other 80s musicians like Carol Decker of T'Pau, Rick Astley, Bananarama and Midge Ure at the Quarry on July 12.

Glenn said: "It's all about playing your most well known songs - like Temptation - it's a joyous occasion. When you do Temptation live, everybody seems to remember it and it's a great feeling."

Glenn said he thought i-Tunes had played a part in the 80s music come back.

He said: "The way people listen to music is much easier and it's much easier to hear music from anywhere."
