Bryn ChristopherMidlands singer Bryn Christopher is being hailed as the next big thing on the British and international soul scene.

With support slots to Amy Winehouse and hip hop queen Mary J Blige under his belt, plus a session on BBC Radio 2, the future is looking bright for the 22-year-old from Great Barr, Birmingham.

His first single The Quest, just released, was written about Bryn's brother serving with the British army in Basra and has already been featured in the hit TV show Gray's Anatomy.

Bryn lists his major influences as the classic old-school soul singers - the likes of Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Nina Simone, Al Green and Stevie Wonder, as well as Prince, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson.

He will be keeping himself busy this summer with a host of festival appearances then in August will release his debut album My World.
