Oswestry Music LiveThousands of people are set to flock to Oswestry this weekend for the annual extravaganza that is Oswestry Music Live.

This year's event, to be held in Cae Glas Park on Sunday, is set to feature a host of local artists.

Phil Beaumont, one of the organisers, said: "We have got lots of local bands and Lisa Mills, from America. It is a very family orientated event with something for everybody."

Bands will be performing throughout the afternoon and into the evening, culminating in a grand firework display at 10.30pm.

The original Total Chaos, featuring Aziz Ibrahim, have reformed for one night only for the event.

Mr Ibrahim, a guitarist best known for his work with Simply Red and Stone Roses, where he replaced John Squire, now lives in the Oswestry area.

Another Oswestry band taking part is the Pepperpots.

Entry to the park will be £5 for adults and free for those under-18.
