McFlyMcFly have announced a gig at Birmingham's NEC Arena as they prepare to launch their new album, Radio:ACTIVE this weekend.

The pop rockers will play the NEC on Friday November 14.

The first single from the album, One For The Radio, is the debut release on McFly's own label, Super Records, after they left Island Records following the release of last year's greatest hits compilation.

And the album itself will be given away free this weekend with the Mail On Sunday, with an expanded version to follow later in the year.

When asked if there's some trepidation about going it alone with their own record label, drummer Harry Judd replies: "Are we nervous? Not at all. These songs are by far the best we've ever done. We've never been happier.

"We can't wait for our fans to hear it and we can't wait to play it to them live."

Tickets for McFly's November 14 NEC Arena gig go on sale this Sunday July 20 at 11am priced at £26 & £16, subject to booking fee.
