Girls Aloud have announced a third Birmingham date for next year to cope with the phenomenal demand for tickets.

The Out of Control Tour will now play The NIA, Birmingham, on May 20 and 21, 2009, plus the new date, Monday, June 1.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Thursday, November 20) at 9am, priced £30 plus booking and transaction fees.

The Out Of Control Tour comes hot on the heels of Girls Aloud's third arena tour and a critically-acclaimed performance at the V Festival.

Girls Aloud were created in 2002 by the ITV1 talent show Popstars: The Rivals.

The group consists of Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding, and has scored a record-breaking 19 consecutive Top 10 singles, including four number ones, and six albums, including two number ones.
