The Froncysyllte Male Voice Choir's new album, Voices of the Valley Home, topped the classical charts yesterday - as well as reaching number 12 in the pop charts.

And the choir's first album, Voices of the Valley, released three years ago, has re-entered the classical charts at number six.

Dave Jones, choir chairman, from Llanymynech, said they were "completely overwhelmed".

He added: "The fairytale that began when we were spotted singing at a wedding just goes on and on."
