Cliff Richard and The Shadows are already expanding their farewell tour after overwhelming demand for tickets from fans.

Yesterday two shows at the O2 in London, two shows in Birmingham at the NIA and one show at the Evening News Arena in Manchester sold so quickly that extra dates have been added in these arenas and are on sale now.

The extra date at Birmingham NIA is on Thursday October 1, 2009, and joins the two concerts already announced for October 3 and 4. Tickets cost £60 and £55, plus booking fees.

Lily Allen's appearance at Birmingham Academy on March 23 will follow the release of her next album, It's Not Me, It's You, in February.

The singer, who sold out her recently announced show at London's Koko in less than an hour, last toured the UK two years ago. Tickets, priced £19.50 went on sale this morning. Click here for more details.

They have also sold an astonishing 1.65 million concert tickets following the release of the All The Right Reasons album in 2005, which included the singles Photograph, Savin' Me and Rock Star.

Tickets for the NIA gig cost £33.50 plus booking fee and go on sale at 9am this Friday, December 5.

Bob Catley, singer with Midlands classic rockers Magnum, has announced a solo show in the intimate surroundings of Wolverhampton's Little Civic, accompanied by members of Magnum and others.
