The band is due to perform at the NIA on Tuesday, July 7.

Following on from their No 1 album Long Road Out Of Eden, the band – Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, will be performing a wide range of material from past and present, including classic songs such as Hotel California, Desperado, Take It To The Limit, Life In The Fast Lane and Take It Easy.

Tickets will go on sale on this Friday, December 12, at 9am.

Incredibly Long Road Out of Eden was the band's first album to reach No 1 in the UK charts. With 800,000 copies shipped, it was the sixth best selling CD of 2007, despite being on sale for only nine weeks.

Internationally, the album has sold in excess of 2.2 million albums and has also topped charts in the US, Australia, Greece, India, New Zealand, The Netherlands and Norway.

The Eagles have sold more than 120 million albums worldwide, earning five No1 US singles and four Grammy Awards. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
