A Victorian manor house in Mid Wales is set to be transformed into a nightclub.

Norton Manor, near Presteigne, will host electro and funky house DJ nights each Saturday beginning on February 14.

The event is the brainchild of Benjamin Lovell, of Bazooka events, which in the past has held dance nights at various venues across Mid Wales.

Mr Lovell said: "This is a new weekly dance night called Bish Bosh.

"The music policy will be pumping electro, fidget house, funky house and breaks, with quality resident DJs alongside regular special guests."

A shuttle bus will be running every Saturday from Presteigne and Knighton for £3 return. There is also a manned car park.

Mr Lovell urged people to buy their tickets in advance, priced £5, as capacity is limited.

Tickets, which cost £6 on the door, are available from (01547) 520843.
