Review: You'd be hard beaten to find entertainment anywhere in the country to match the talent that performed at The Place, at Oakengates Theatre, on Friday night in Telford's Got Talent.

The privileged audience who managed to secure themselves tickets for the sell-out performance were dazzled and entertained by some amazing acts from across the region.

From over 500 auditioned acts, the best 12 performers were selected to perform at Friday night's live show.

Opening the show was Jessica Beckett, a remarkable young female vocalist who delivered a stunning vocal performance.

Street Dance acts Debut and DNA wowed the audience with their high-energy break dance and body popping moves, whilst martial arts act Double Trouble gave a truly spectacular display of their self-defence and weaponry skills.

Host for the evening Paul Shuttleworth, from Telford FM, likened young vocalist Jadene Ryder to Nora Jones.

Meanwhile, atch out in the future for Louis Cope. This skilled musician gave a flawless performance of Elton John's "Your Song".

Soul singer Francesca Sterling Aubrey delivered a powerful performance, whilst Lisa Stevens brought the west end stage to Shropshire with a truly talented performance from Hairspray.

Beat Box crew TF1 gave an impressive performance of their high impact style of rap, whilst younger members of The Chinese School of Dance delivered an entertaining and traditional display of cultural dance.

Observational comedy dance act The Hit Brothers, who have only been together for just a few months, brought the house down with their unique compilation of popular and iconic dance styles from across the decades.

But the night belonged to young vocalist Daniel Crossley, a brilliant young male vocalist whose breathtaking performance of 'Listen' by Beyonce achieved a much deserved standing ovation from the audience.

With a vocal ability beyond his years Daniel is certainly set for a huge future ahead of him.
