More news from The Answer - just a day after the Irish hard rockers had to reschedule club dates this week they have now announced a 15-date headline tour for later this year which takes in Wolverhampton's Wulfrun Hall.

The band, who will appear as AC/DC's special guests at Birmingham NEC's LG Arena tomorrow night, will play the Wulfrun on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. Tickets cost £13 plus booking fees.

The fast-rising rockers, who recently released their second album, Everyday Demons, have been travelling the world supporting AC/DC on their Black Ice tour to huge critical acclaim, claiming new fans the world over.

The Answer have seen their fan base swell over the past three years as they have secured other prestigious support slots including Whitesnake, the Rolling Stones, The Who and Aerosmith, as well as playing celebrated headlining tours in England, Japan and Australia.

The tour announcement comes after The Answer had to reschedule three headline dates this week, including one at Nottingham Rescue Rooms, after drummer James Heatley suffered ligament and tendon damage to his left hand. The band is still due to open for AC/DC tomorrow and will now play their Nottingham gig on July 3.
