The multi-platinum selling Fron Male Voice Choir is back with its fourth album, Memory Lane, which was being released today.

Since their debut disc in 2006, the 60-strong male voice choir, many from the Oswestry area, have scored a hat-trick of classical number ones with their first three albums - an astonishing achievement for an essentially amateur choir with an average age of 67.

Now they are hoping to hit the top of the charts once again with their latest album, which includes pop classics, hits from the opera house and concert hall along with traditional Welsh songs.

They include Hey Jude, Ferry Cross the Mersey, The White Cliffs of Dover, Land of Hope and Glory, and many more.

The album was being launched at the Bryn Howel Hotel in Llangollen. The choir invited ex-service personnel from North Wales to attend the event and enjoy a short concert.
