The final acts for this year's V Festival were announced today - just three days before the eagerly-awaited event gets under way on the Shropshire/Staffordshire border.

The latest names on the bill at Weston Park are Happy Mondays frontman Shaun William Ryder and electronic dance duo Groove Armada.

It comes after it was revealed this week that Aussie pop star and TV personality, Peter Andre, will make his festival debut there.

Rising star Matthew P will also perform at V alongside 100 other confirmed acts, including headliners Kings of Leon and Kasabian, plus Stereophonics, Paul Weller and The Prodigy.

Roots reggae nine-piece, Gentleman's Dub Club, will be replacing the previously announced Virgin Media Union act Eli Paperboy Reed.

Bob Angus, V Festival Director, said: "These final additions conclude our 2010 line-up and we hope fans are excited as we are."
