West End sensations, rock stars and top comedians will head the line-up during a packed autumn and winter programme at a Shropshire theatre.

Theatre Severn has unveiled its programme for events from this month through to February next year.

He added: "These entertaining shows are complemented by an exciting dance programme, which includes Swan Lake, performed by the Rudolf Nureyev Russian State Ballet, and Scattered, a breathtaking show from the Motionhouse dance company."

London Classic Theatre will perform Harold Pinter's tragic comedy The Caretaker and Pilot Theatre will perform Romeo & Juliet."

Meanwhile, local Mad Cow Productions will return with a farcical comedy, Move Over Mrs Markham.

There are welcome returns too, for the City Of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and Armonico Consort.
