An Oswestry nightclub has pledged to bring more well-known names to the town after hundreds queued in the street to see Radio One DJ Jaguar Skills.

The masked DJ played to a packed Gibsons club at the weekend attracting clubbers of all ages, from 16 upwards.

A spokesman for Promotors, Substance Presents, said they were looking to bring more big names to the town.

Gibsons owner Carlton Leonard said: "We always try to put on nights that will appeal to the people of Oswestry. But we need people to keep supporting what we do."

He said he would cater for 16-plus events, if they had the support of the teenagers.

Younger clubbers appreciated being able to go to the Jaguar Skills.

Teenager Joe Austin said: "Jag opened with a huge drum and bass tune and the rest of the set included dubstep electro and drum and bass tunes and a few 80s and 90s classics. All in all the night was a huge success."
