Prices soar as V Festival tickets sold on

Tickets for V Festival were today being resold by touts on internet auction sites for 75 per cent more than they cost yesterday.

The festival sold out in record time yesterday, just 80 minutes after tickets went on sale. Today £179 passes were being sold for as much as £310.

Fans have been warned not to be tempted by unofficial websites amid fears they will take credit card details but won't supply tickets.
