The event will be headlined by Jo Harman, one of the UK's fastest rising female artists. She recently featured at a number of European festivals and has also toured with Mick Hucknall.

She counts Robert Plant among her fans and has been rated by many as being the best new blues, roots and soul-infused artist to come out of the UK.

Guitar Magazine's acoustic guitarist of the year, Nikki Murray will perform with his band on Saturday and headline with an acoustic set on the Sunday.

Nikki has toured the world with many A-list artists and has received endorsements from MTV and VH1.

Fast-rising band, The Wholls, from Bedford, will line-up after playing to sell-out audiences across London and the South East.

DLM, led by Andy Davis of Stackridge fame, will also line-up. Fans can look forward to songs from his huge back catalogue during an intimate and stripped-down gig with Claire Lindley and Brian Mullen.

Fans can also look forward to a set from The Contrasts, who will play sleek, edgy, chiming guitar pop. The band have recently recorded for the New York Rainbow Quartz label under the guidance of Steven Van Zandt, of the famed Bruce Springsteen E-Street Band.

Meanwhile, Hilton Music Festival will also feature pioneering British arthouse folk duo Blackheart, who have played more than 400 gigs in the UK and Ireland, in addition to touring Australia and New Zealand.

There will also be a set from Bridgnorth-based Thomson Oldeman, a four-piece indie/folk combo.

Tickets are available in advance, priced £15 per day, and they are also available on the gate at £20. Further details are available at Bridgnorth Visitor Information Centre, Lowtown Post Office, Bridgnorth Delicatessen in the High Street or online at www.hiltonmusicfestival.co.uk The gates will open at 11am.
