The T-Live concert will see heart-throbs McFly headline the show, with support coming from Stooshe and Luminites among others.

More than 3,000 people are expected to attend on Saturday, and with heavy rain predicted for the weekend, the festival could have more than a touch of the Glastonbury about it.

The T-Live stage in Telford Town Park is prepared for the weekend

Telford & Wrekin Council leader Kuldip Sahota said: "We have been planning T-live in unison with the whole of the T-Party Festival since March of this year.

"A great deal of hard work is now culminating in the hosting of these events, the first of which, T-Party, which took place last weekend, was hugely successful.

"When T-Live takes place this Saturday, more than 3,000 people are going to be attending one of the biggest music events ever in the borough."

Anyone with tickets to T-Live can buy a parking space in advance for the event for the cost of £3.

The tickets can be used to park at any of the Telford Shopping Centre car parks and can be purchased in the Shopping Centre from the Customer Service Desk in Wrekin Square, and from the Tourist Information Desk based in Shopmobility. There is also limited free parking for early birds at the Council Offices at Darby House and Addenbrooke House on Ironmasters Way.

Tickets are still on sale and cash purchases will be allowed on the gate, however anyone paying by card on the day will need to purchase their tickets from the Ice Rink.
