Date revealed for Market Drayton Rock and Bowl Festival
Organisers of a major music festival in a north Shropshire town have unveiled the dates for this year's event.
Last year thousands of music fans descended on Market Drayton for the Rock and Bowl Festival.
A record 4,800 people attended and organisers say they expect even more people this year.
Laurence Payne, one of the organisers, said this year's festival will be held from May 28 to 30 in the picnic area in Newport Road.
He said:"There is a huge team of organisers so it is a real community event. Without this team we could not put on such a successful festival."
"Doctor and the Medics have been confirmed as one of the headline acts and we have more great bands to come."
Tickets are £15 for adults for the day or £32 for the weekend.
