Cooper & Davies will appear on the Saloon Stage at the festival in London's O2 on Saturday.

The annual C2C has become Europe's leading country music festival, attracting more than 50,000 people across the weekend.

Drawn together by a desire to play rootsy Americana, Cooper & Davies – made up of musicians Si Davies and Rob Cooper – developed their own style and sound which draws on the traditions of country, blues and bluegrass.

The duo have previously supported Quill at Theatre Severn in Shrewsbury on two occasions, opened up the annual Carols in the Square in Shrewsbury last year and performed at Farmer Phil's Festival.

Singer and guitarist Si Davies, from the duo, said: "This is a very exciting opportunity to play at a prestigious event in the capital city and it's a great privilege for us to play on the same bill as Carrie Underwood, Little Big Town and The Shires."
