Music festival heading to Bridgnorth

A music festival called “Sun Fest” will be held in Bridgnorth.

The event, which is being held to raise funds for the 11th annual Bridgnorth Music and Arts Festival, takes place on May 28 at the Edgar Davies Ground in the town.

Camping will be available for tents, campervans, caravans, and motorhomes.

There will also be a Hobson’s real ale bar, a barbecue, cafe, bouncy castle and slide, rodeo bull, and quad bikes.

Advance tickets cost £5, tickets on the day cost £7, and tickets for under 13s are free.

Gates open at 11am and the music will start from 12pm.

The cost for campervans, caravans, and motorhomes is £15 per night and the cost for tents is £10 per night.

Bridgnorth Music and Arts Festival was founded in 2006.

It includes 11 days of free art and music from August 18 to 28 all around Bridgnorth.

There will be a number of headlining acts on different stages, including a High Street stage on August 27, and Quayside stage on August 28 by the river.

There will also be a family fun day in the Castle Grounds, a short film festival in The Majestic Cinema, a comedy festival, rock festival and a poetry evening.
