Revenge porn play coming to Birmingham
An award-winning show looking at revenge porn is coming to Birmingham.
Written by Charlotte Josephine, BLUSH tells five candid stories about revenge porn and its many victims.
Exploring why society has a desire to shame and how we allow this to happen, BLUSH shines a light on the issue in the 70 minute production.
The catalyst for the piece was legislation passed in April 2015 to make revenge pornography a criminal act. The law now makes it illegal to disclose a ‘private sexual photograph or film’ without the consent of the person depicted.
BLUSH will appear at Birmingham MAC on June 20
