This House follows the story of the 1974 general election campaign which led to a shock hung parliament after Conservative Prime Minister Edward Heath called a snap election.

James Graham's biting, energetic and critically-acclaimed play strips politics down to the practical realities of those behind the scenes who roll up their sleeves, and on occasion bend the rules, to manoeuvre a diverse and conflicting chorus of MPs.

As part of its first ever national tour this play takes on a new importance in the current political climate following the 2017 hung parliament, after Conservative Prime Minister Theresa May's decision to call a snap election.

This House will play Birmingham REP from April 16 to April 21, 2018 and tickets go on sale on July 7, 2017.
