Ferocious Dog to headline Farmer Phil's Music Festival

Folk punk band Ferocious Dog are set to headline Farmer Phil's Music Festival in Ratlinghope.

Hailing from Warsop in Nottinghamshire, Ferocious dog have embarked on numerous headline tours across he UK and Europe and have supported the likes of New Model Army, The Levellers and The Wonder Stuff.

In 2015 the band played in the Field of Avalon at Glastonbury Festival, attracting the third largest crowd to the stage over the course of the weekend.

In the same year, the band sold out Rock City in Nottingham in advance – a historic moment, the first time in the 35 year history of this auspicious venue an unsigned band has achieved this feat.

Ferocious Dog open the Shrewsbury festival on Friday, August 11 with an acoustic set on the main stage, and they headline the main stage with a fill band on Saturday, August 12.
