BBC Good Food Show: Celebrity chefs lined up for Birmingham event

A variety of television personalities and celebrity chefs are lined up to appear at Birmingham's BBC Good Food Show.

Mary Berry, Tom Kerridge, Michel Roux Jr, James Martin, The Hairy Bikers, Raymond Blanc, Nadiya Hussain and Barney Desmazery are set to appear, with more to be announced.

Mary Berry CBE is a British food writer and television presenter. She is best known for her appearance as a judge on BBC show The Great British Bake Off from 2010 to 2016. he has published more than 75 cookery books including her bestselling Baking Bible in 2009.

Professional chef Tom Kerridge appeared in several small television parts as a child actor before attending culinary school at the age of 18. Kerridge currently presents Food and Drink and presented Bake Off: Crème de la Crème on BBC Two.

Michel Roux Jr is a British two-star Michelin chef at the London restaurant Le Gavroche. He is the son of Albert Roux, a French-born restaurateur and chef working in Britain. He and his brother Michel operated Le Gavroche, the first restaurant in the UK to gain three Michelin stars.

BBC and ITV presenter James Martin is best known for his presenting stint on BBC cookery series Saturday Kitchen. More recently, Martin has presented James Martin's French Adventure and Saturday Morning with James Martin for ITV. He also guest presented several episodes of This Morning.

David Myers and Simon King, known collectively as The Hairy Bikers, are British television presenters known for the comical cooking shows. The pair have fronted various seasons including The Hairy Bikers' Cookbook, The Hairy Bikers Ride Again, The Hairy Bakers, The Hairy Bikers' Food Tour of Britain and many more. Both have a background in TV and film production, with Myers as a professional make-up artist and King serving as a locations manager on various productions such as the Harry Potter films and Byker Grove.

Raymond Blanc OBE is the owner and chef at Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons. The restaurant has two Michelin stars and scored 9 out of 10 in the Good Food Guide. He is entirely self-taught, but has taught and employed other chefs including Heston Blumenthal, John Burton-Race, Michael Caines, Paul Liebrandt, and Marco Pierre White.

Great British Bake Off season six winner Nadiya Hussain has gone on to present her own BBC documentary and star in her own cookery series Nadiya's British Food Adventure. Hussain is a columnist for The Times Magazine, has signed publishing deals with Penguin Random House, Hodder Children's Books, and Harlequin. In 2016, Hussain was named by Debrett's as one of the 500 most influential people in the UK and was on BBC News' 100 Women list.

Barney Desmazery is the Senior Food Editor across BBC Good Food. The trained chef joined the magazine seven years ago and has worked in restaurants across France, London and Sydney.

These experts will be performing live and showcasing their knowledge to eager audiences.

Other features of the show includes various skill classes, shopping areas, business awards, book signings, pop-up restaurants and more.

The BBC Good Food Show will appear at Birmingham NEC from November 30 to December 3.
