The show will follow the release of their new album Ten Add Ten – The Very Best Of. It will feature 10 new songs alongside 10 classic hits and is set for release on October 27.

The band has enjoyed a remarkable 2017. This year officially marked a decade since the release of the band’s unstoppable million-selling eponymous self-titled debut album.

And the band made the announcement of their new album to excited fans at Weston Park during their main stage set at V Festival.

Ten Add Ten will feature new songs such as Dancing In The Daylight, Butterflies and a Christmas song alongside the 10 most popular hits including He’s So Lovely, Elvis Ain’t Dead, Heartbeat, I Wish I Was James Bond and This Ain’t A Love Song.

SFG singer Roy Stride says: “We’ve been utterly blown away by the incredible reaction we’ve had to our tenth anniversary reissue and tour. And now we’re even more excited to release brand new music this year. These ten new songs were written and recorded over the last two years in an attempt to write the perfect Scouting for Girls single.

“We went back and listened to that debut album and tried to recreate some of that magic and deliver a worthy follow up ten years on. If you’re an SFG fan I hope you’ll love it especially as these ten brand new songs are packaged with ten of our favourite and biggest hits.”

Scouting For Girls burst onto the scene and signed to Epic in 2007. They enjoyed a triple platinum number one debut album, multiple top 10 singles and earned a dedicated set of fans who still follow them avidly a decade later. They are hitting the road later for a massive tour that includes the Birmingham show on December 2.
