Luca said: "I love modelling it's such fun. I have done loads of great jobs but the best was definitely the Louis shoot. The song is really good and I'm in it which is a bonus.

"He was so nice and really cool . I met Bebe too but she was quiet. I love the motor homes where we go into wardrobe and the food on set is the best .

"My friends are proud of me, I think .

"I would encourage any kid to try something new even if you don't succeed at least you have tried your best.

"When I'm older I would love to still model or be a pilot and travel the world . There's no escape from school work, though, because mom makes sure I do maths and spellings in the car on the way to jobs."

His proud parents mother Jade Campbell, 39, a flight attendant and dad Mark Drummond, 47, a GKN press operator, say despite his success the youngster is keeping his feet firmly on the ground.

Miss Campbell says: "His most recent job though is working along side ex 1D artist Louis Tomlinson on his new single 'Back to You'. Luca was selected as the child model in the video through his profile with industry casting agency Spotlight.

"This is a tremendous achievement and we are so very proud of him for having the confidence to do it. It's his first day back at school and already the other children are recognising him from the video which is really nice.

"He's so modest and he loves modelling. He has worked with some very high profile clients and his profile is in demand. The local authority is fabulous as is the school in supporting him in his modelling assignments and I just want him to know how proud we are as parents."

Luca started working as a model after his mum applied to an agency in Manchester and he was accepted.

"They signed him up and he started doing bits and pieces, then at the beginning of this year it really took off. Spotlight sent his profile to Syco Music which Louis is signed to and it was the label that chose Luca. We think it's really good for someone so young and from the local area to be doing such high profile things and it's inspirational for other children. he's always telling his friends that they would be really good at modelling too and that they should give it a try.

"Louis was so lovely he made us feel really comfortable on the video shoot. He told me that he thought Luca was the coolest kid he knows. Luca wasn't fazed at all by it at all. He took it all in his stride. He followed the director's instructions for his scenes and did really well. This was definitely his biggest job to date," she adds.

Miss Campbell, who works for Virgin Atlantic, says as a treat for his hard work Luca was taken on a well-earned holiday to Barbados.
