Vortex Gaming opens at Resorts World Birmingham

Vortex Gaming - the new state-of-the-art, family entertainment centre featuring iconic gameplay and UK firsts in virtual reality - has been making waves since it opened on September 2.

Vortex offers an innovative experience including virtual reality experiences Omni Arena & a VR Cinema, alongside the latest versions of classic favourites such as the dance mat, Candy Crush Saga, Pacman Smash Slimline, Super Mario and Space Invaders Frenzy.

There are also speciality milkshakes, smoothies and snacks on offer, as well as a custom Pepsi machine to create your own drink with a variety of flavoured shots.

Vortex adds to the existing family entertainment experience, with Resorts World also playing host to an 11-screen Cineworld with IMAX with 2D and 3D screenings, and family-favourites restaurants TGI Fridays, Pizza Express and Nandos.
