Kevin Hart announces Birmingham show
He's best known for starring in Soul Plane, Scary Movie 3, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, Paper Soliders and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle - and now comedy star Kevin Hart is bringing his brand new tour to Birmingham.
The Irresponsible tour, coming to the second city this summer, follows his 2016 tour What Now? which saw 38-year-old Kevin become the first comedian to sell out an NFL stadium, with more than 50,000 tickets being sold for one show at Lincoln Financial Field.
Philadelphia-born Kevin Hart began his career by winning several amateur comedy competitions in clubs throughout New England. He got his first real break in 2001 when he was cast by Judd Apatow in TV series Undeclared.
He has since gone on to work in film, release his own music under alias Chocolate Droppa and model alongside Tommy John in an underwear advertisement for Macy's in 2017.
Kevin also launched digital platform Laugh Out Loud Network, a comedy network that aims to show up-and-coming comedians and artists.
Time Magazine named Kevin one of the 100 most influential people in the world on the annual Time 100 list.
His memoir I Can't Make This Up: Life Lessons also debuted at number one on the New York Times Bestseller list. The book also topped records on the Audible platform, selling over 100,000 copies in the first five weeks.
Kevin Hart will perform at Arena Birmingham on August 30.
Tickets for Kevin Hart at Arena Birmingham will go on sale from 10am on February 3.
For this show mobile phones, cameras and recording devices will be strictly prohibited in the arena. Anyone found using these devices will be asked to leave the venue and will not be subject to a refund.
