The Temperance Movement to play Birmingham
Blues rock band The Temperance Movement is heading to Birmingham.
The members of the group have a rich history of experience, having previously played with Jamiroquai, Feeder, Rooster, Ben's Brother, Ray Davies and The Waterboys.
The Scottish five-piece formed in 2011 and released their debut Pride EP in 2012. The Temperance Movement released their eponymous debut album in 2013, which has been followed by White Bear in 2016 and their latest release A Deeper Cut, due to be released on February 16.
In 2014 the band were invited to play before The Rolling Stones before their concert in Berlin, and supported Blackberry Smoke on their 2015 US tour.
Guitarist Luke Potashnick left the group in 2016 to fully dedicate himself to a career as a songwriter and producer, replaced by long-time friend on the band Matt White. Drummer Damon Wilson also amicably left the band to spend more time with his wife and family, with Simon Lea taking his place.
The group is completed by vocalist Phil Campbell, guitarist Paul Sayer and bassist Nick Fyffe.
The Temperance Movement will play Birmingham's O2 Institute on February 21.
