Is it a bird? Is it a plane?: Fly like a superhero at Birmingham's Bear Grylls Adventure
Take to the skies like your favourite superhero ahead of the release of Avengers: Endgame at the Bear Grylls Adventure.
To celebrate the release of the eagerly-anticipated film, the Birmingham attraction is giving visitors the chance to re-enact their favourite flying scenes from hit movies.
Instead of your regular iFLY coach, visitors at the attraction from April 27 to 28 will get their adrenaline pumping in the indoor wind tunnel, with characters from some of their favourite films including Top Gun, ET, Spiderman and Superman, and get to experience the equivalent of a free fall feel of 12,000ft.
Bear Grylls said: “It’s not surprising that 52 per cent of the UK population wish they could fly like their favourite super heroes, but only 26 per cent are adventurous enough to go sky diving.
"We all sometimes need a push to take us out of our comfort zone, and Bear Grylls Adventure is the perfect place to do this.”
General manager, James Thomas comments: “The Bear Grylls Adventure is all about getting your adrenaline pumping and bringing you out of your comfort zone.
"iFLY is perfect for guests that have always dreamt of sky diving but have never been able to take that leap of faith.
"The equivalent of a free fall time of three sky dives, iFLY will make you the master of the sky without having to jump out of a plane or put on a parachute."
In addition, guests are invited to share their experience across social media using #BearGryllsAdventure for a chance to win a free Merlin Annual Pass.
The winning image or video will be chosen by Bear Grylls at the end of the month.
