Get outside (or close your curtains) - it's World Naked Gardening Day!

Be careful with the rakes and spades though folks

Published

Green-fingered folk have been celebrating world naked gardening day by doing just that – watering the plants with no clothes on.

The first Saturday of May each year has been dedicated to gardening naked, and this year is no exception.

Simpsons Garden Centre shared a photo of their staff naked but for some carefully positioned aprons, despite being based in the usually nippy Inverness.

And Instagram was awash with naked bodies.

There was even a message from a police officer in South Worcestershire, who warned gardeners to be careful with their power tools.

Not everyone was as supportive of the day though.

At least the weather looks like it’s going to hold up today.
