This teen's prom entrance in a coffin is truly one of a kind

She wanted to show her passion for her future chosen career.

When you think of grand entrances to prom, your mind probably goes to stretch limousines rather than hearses.

In a pretty bold move, American teen Megan Flaherty chose to arrive to her high school prom in a coffin.

Megan wants to be a funeral director after high school, so this was her way of showing off her passion for her chosen job.

Megan meant absolutely no disrespect in the setup. Instead, her mother said: “This is going to be her chosen profession and she is proud of it.”

Props to Megan’s individuality, even if it is definitely a whole lot more sinister than your average sunshine and rainbows prom scene.

Judging by the sounds of applause as she’s helped out of the hearse by her “pallbearers,” she pulled off the stunt with aplomb.
