As a weatherman, you’d probably expect Deric Hartigan to have a pretty good handle on the weather – it is his area of expertise, after all.
However, even the most seasoned weatherman can’t control Mother Nature.
Perhaps the best thing about the video is how Deric’s TV3 co-hosts Sinead Desmond and Mark Cagney respond: unable to keep their fits of giggles in after the on-air blooper.
Luckily, Deric was fine after his mishap, but he probably won’t forget the irony of a weatherman being attacked by the weather any time soon.
