With glittering dresses, saucy dance routines and chart-topping hits under their tiny belts, The Saturdays hit the stage for their first arena tour.

Crowds poured into Birmingham's LG Arena last night to see the girls, who – in a parade of matching short dresses and killer heels – did not disappoint their legions of admiring fans.

Pregnant Una Healy opted for more sensible kitten heels.

She also sat out of one of the raunchier routines – reports claim she believes it is 'inappropriate' for a mother-to-be.

The show opened with Top 10 hit Notorious, getting the crowd up out of their seats and dancing in the aisles, and the group proceeded to belt through their back catalogue, from early material such as Up and Ego to the more recent All Fired Up and My Heart Takes Over, from this year's album On Your Radar.

A cover of Maroon 5's Move Like Jagger was also well-received, sparking cheers from the crowd as they sang along.

Donning glittery Miss Santa costumes, the girls then performed a version of Winter Wonderland, leaving everyone in the festive spirit.
