The Moody Blues, whose music spans four decades, will play the LG Arena on Saturday, June 8, as the third date in a month-long tour.

Formed in Birmingham in 1964, the current line up came together in 1967 releasing the album Days of Future Passed which notably drew from classical influences.

They went on to become one of the first 'Brum Beat' bands to become internationally famous and have since generated sales in excess of 55 million albums worldwide and have been awarded 18 platinum discs.

The band has developed a reputation for consistently entertaining audiences live with hits including Nights In White Satin, Tuesday Afternoon and Question. This has made them one of the top-grossing album and touring bands in existence.
