Wright, who rose to fame on ITV2's The Only Way Is Essex, will appear at The Buttermarket nightclub in Shrewsbury on March 20.

The former I'm A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here contestant currently hosts spin-off dating show Take Me Out – The Gossip on ITV2.

His Shrewsbury charity gig, named Mark Wright and Friends, will help raise cash for Hope House Children's Hospice in Morda.

It will feature a line-up of singers, including Kye Sones, one of the finalists on last year's X Factor.

Afterwards, Wright will take part in an hour long meet and greet with his fans.

Martin Monahan, owner of The Buttermarket, said: "It's fantastic that Mark is coming to Shrewsbury to host our charity gig. He's going to be very popular, especially with the girls."

Tickets are due to go on sale tomorrow at 9am.

Mr Monahan said: "We're expecting a huge demand for tickets."

There will be no age restriction at the event, although children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. For further information and ticket prices visit www.thebuttermarket.co.uk

Soul legend Billy Ocean is due to perform at the Buttermarket on May 5, while boy band sensation JLS will host a DJ set on April 6. Tickets for their exclusive gig sold out in 15 minutes.

Sones's performance at the club will be the latest in a growing number of appearances by contestants on last year's ITV show. The Buttermarket has hosted show winner James Arthur as well as boyband Union J, Ella Henderson, Jahmene Douglas and Rylan Clarke.
