The former X Factor and Dancing on Ice star will now appear at the Buttermarket, on Howard Street, on Saturday, April 27 after nightclub bosses rescheduled the show.

His fans were left disappointed on Saturday as the singer became snowed in and tweeted to his 233,000 followers that his car was wedged in the snow.

On Monday, Buttermarket owner Martin Monahan said people's safety was of 'paramount importance' in these situations. But now ticketholders who previously bought a ticket will be contacted by SeeTickets.com – where tickets will be valid for the new date.

People will also be able to get a refund if they cannot make the April show.

And next month chart-topping superstars JLS will be the latest high-profile act to appear at the Shrewsbury nightclub.

The Brit Award-winning boy-band, who have sold more than 10 million records worldwide, will play to a sell-out crowd of nearly 1,000 on April 6.

The four-piece – Aston Merrygold, Oritsé Williams, J.B. Gill and Marvin Humes – will appear in the town ahead of a massive arena tour around the UK this December.

JLS have notched up sales of 10 million worldwide and recently released their fourth studio album Evolution.

The band, who got their big break on ITV talent show X Factor in 2008, have had five number one singles including Beat Again and Everybody in Love.

The appearance in Shrewsbury will raise cash for the band's charity, the JLS Foundation in partnership with Cancer Research UK which has been formed to help cancers affecting children, teenagers and young adults. Meanwhile in May, soul legend Billy Ocean will make a one-off appearance at the Howard Street club.

The singer, who had hits such as When The Going Gets Tough and Love Really Hurts Without You will play on May 5 as part of a national tour.

They are the latest in a series of gigs at the Buttermarket, many featuring X Factor stars, which have attracted large crowds to the venue since it underwent a major revamp.
