JLS fans reassured over Osfest date

JLS fans were today reassured that the chart-topping band will still be appearing at Shropshire's Osfest music festival – despite the group planning to break up later in the year.

The pop favourites have announced they will split up in December after five years together.

Osfest bosses said the news would not affect the band's appearance on May 25 at the festival at Oswestry Showground – and have encouraged music fans to quickly buy the remaining tickets so they don't miss out on what is likely to be JLS's last performance in Shropshire. About 4,000 of the 5,000 tickets have already been sold.

Event director Carly Jackson said the announcement of the break-up had taken Osfest bosses by surprise.

Osfest runs from May 24 to 27 and tickets are available from (01691) 680468.
