The star has embarked on his first headline UK tour in over eight years, in support of his much anticipated new album The Irish Connection.

The Irish singer-songwriter rose to fame in the late 1990s as a member of Irish boyband Westlife and is presently a judge on Australia's Got Talent.

He launched a successful solo career after leaving Westlife and his debut solo album reached number five on the Irish chart. It also produced two European number one hits.

McFadden enjoyed a hugely successful run with Westlife and played a big part in their popularity, from 1998 to 2004.

He was part of four number one studio albums and one number one greatest hits album. He left to spend more time with his family and to pursue solo projects.

He has also developed a TV and radio career in recent years, presenting programmes on football and entertainment.
