The Lovell sisters from Atlanta, who make up Larkin Poe, are returning to the Ironworks before their appearance at the sold-out Cambridge Folk Festival.

When the duo played the Ironworks 12 months ago, the audience included Aliana Chambers, Fiona MacKellar and Beth Jones, who call themselves Not Completely Blonde.

After the show the two groups got chatting, leading to tomorrow's support slot.

The ex-Lakelands and Shrewsbury Sixth Form College trio are now earning their keep as professional songwriter musicians and have deferred university for a year.

Tickets are available from Seetickets, The Ironworks, or Oswestry's new vinyl specialist Outwhere Records, priced at £8 in advance or £12 on the door.
