The Luminites will be appearing at T-Live

The band will support chart-toppers McFly after The Vamps pulled out last week because they will be supporting Disney star Selena Gomez in London on the same day.

Luminites join Stooshe, Loveable Rogues and Telford bands Madison and The Making on the bill for the festival on September 7.

Telford & Wrekin Council leader Councillor Kuldip Sahota said: "We are absolutely delighted to be able to announce an act of the quality and profile of Luminites and we believe that this really raises the bar as far as T-Live goes.

"We are confident we now have a fantastic bill led by headliners McFly and are really looking forward to a special event."

T-Live is set to be the biggest music event ever staged in Telford & Wrekin and tickets are continuing to sell well for the event which is taking place in the Queen Elizabeth II Fields In Trust Arena in Telford Town Park.

Tickets cost £35 for adults and £30 for 11-16 year olds. Discounts are available.
