Slayer, Anthrax, Lamb of God and Obituary to play Birmingham

Slayer will play a gig in Birmingham this autumn.

The thrash metal idols will be joined at the show by fellow stars Anthrax, Lamb of God and Obituary.

Slayer, formed in California in 1981, is best known for songs such as Raining Blood, Angel In Death, and War Ensemble.

New York heavy metal band Anthrax is famed for songs such as Madhouse, Bring The Noise and Indians. The iconic group was formed back in 1981.

Lamb of God, meanwhile, is a heavy metal group from Virginia, best known for numbers including Laid To Rest, Walk With Me In Hell, and Redneck.

Finally, Obituary is a death metal band hailing from Florida. The group, founded in 1984, is best known for numbers 10 Thousand Ways To Die, Visions In My Head, and Reckneck Stomp.

The four groups will play a gig at Arena Birmingham on November 7.
