Second City promoters This Is Tmrw are bringing the Ohio-based indie four-piece to the Castle & Falcon on January 26, 2019, and those who are yet to buy them can still do so before the Christmas rush.

A statement said: "Cloud Nothings was founded in a Cleveland basement, the one-man recording project of Dylan Baldi. Prolific from the start, Baldi’s early work was rough but immediate.

"For a band that sticks to its impulses instead of trends, Cloud Nothings accumulates critical praise and loyal fans with the type of ease modern rock bands can only dream of. That’s because of Baldi, a frontman whose melodic intuition and musical fervor are as innate as they are impressive.

"Since expanding his solo project into a proper band, Baldi has positioned Cloud Nothings as the torchbearers of the frenetic, visceral, and thundering rock of bands like The Wipers and Drive Like Jehu. It’s all alternating resolves and anticipated breakdowns. And live, it’s near impossible to dispute talent that palpable."

Starting with their self-titled debut in 2011, they have released four further records. Attack on Memory followed in 2012, before the ferocious Here and Nowhere Else (2014), Life Without Sound (2017) and Last Building Burning earlier this year.

On top of that, their sole live record to date - Live at the Grog Shop - came out in 2012, as well as a collaborative record with fellow rockers Wavves, called No Life For Me, in 2015.

Tickets, costing £13.75, are available here.
