The Rock and Bowl community festival will see the Stones, Mercury and Re-Take That take to the big stage across three days in May.

The Rolling Stones tribute act the Stones will be top billing on Saturday, May 25, with the Queen tribute Mercury following on Sunday and Re-Take That on Monday.

Festival director Jeremy Blandford said: "We are thrilled to have such an amazing group of headliner music acts to perform on the Joule’s Brewery Green Monkey Stage at this year’s Rock and Bowl Music Festival.

"All three bands are at the top of their game and will be a real spectacle for festival goers. For 2019 we are also offering festival camping for the first time, so those who live further afield can take advantage of our family or weekend pass to enjoy the three day festival without making unnecessary journeys back and forth.

"The campsite is located very close to the site and is suitable for tents (with cars), caravans and camper vans. Also there is a toilet block, free showers and a fresh water source.

"A complimentary shuttle bus will run from the camping site to the festival throughout the weekends."

Rock and Bowl grew from an event on a bowling green outside a pub, and last year 5,500 people helped celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Advance tickets and camping tickets are available on the festival website rockandbowlfestival.com
