Next week Shrewsbury Library will hold an exclusive virtual masterclass with pianist, composer and recording artist Julian Gargiulo.

He has performed in prestigious venues across the world from New York’s Carnegie Hall to Singapore’s Symphony Stage, and has been featured on radio and TV stations in North America, Europe, and Asia.

Julian is commonly referred to as "the pianist with the hair", due to his distinctive curly locks, and is known for his witty introductions before he plays pieces of music.

He said: “I am looking forward to leading this piano masterclass with Shropshire Libraries.

“It is so exciting that we can connect with each other no matter where we are in the world. Music is universal and belongs to everybody, and it’s a privilege to be able to share the magic.”

The event will take place Friday, October 9 from 10.30am to 11.30am. To book visit eventbrite.co.uk/e/virtual-masterclass-with-world-famous-pianist-julian-gargiulo-tickets-122379661863
