Wistanswick Horse and Pony Show will take place at Chapel Bank in Wistanswick, near Market Drayton, on Saturday.

There will also be a fete, dog show and games for the whole family to enjoy.

The show will start at about 9.30am and entry is £5 per class.

Some of the classes in the horse and pony show include; best lead rein rider, best mini handler, fancy dress and best lead rein pony.

There will also be a show and clear round jumping event and gymkhana classes - subject to entries on the day.

Jackie Jefferies, one of the organisers of the event, said there is something available for all the family.

She said: "This is our 11th show and they are always very popular.

"It is a fun show for people and ponies that everyone can join in.

"It is a good way to introduce children to ponies and enter a show as everyone gets a rosette.

"Fingers crossed the sun will shine for the day and we have a good turnout.

"We are all really looking forward to it.

"There will be stalls, a marquee, dog show and face painting."

It will be held from 9.30am until 5pm.
