Linkin Park's Chester Bennington found dead, aged 41
Linkin Park singer Chester Bennington has died, the Los Angeles County coroner has said.
He has reportedly killed himself.
According to reports, the 41-year-old singer hanged himself at a private residence in Palos Verdes Estates in Los Angeles.
Bennington, who also performed with band Dead by Sunrise, was married and had six children.
His body was reportedly discovered Thursday morning just before 9am.
Linkin Park were one of the seminal bands of the Noughties rap-metal movement, with their debut album, Hybrid Theory, considered to be a metal masterpiece.
The band are in the middle of a world tour promoting their latest studio album, One More Light, and had just wrapped up a European tour.
