Thousands of Rod Stewart fans watch rock legend in Shrewsbury
Thousands of excited Rod Stewart fans were at Shrewsbury Town's football ground tonight to see the rock legend strut his stuff live on stage.
Sir Rod sung hits such as Maggie May, Do Ya Think I'm Sexy and Sailing to thousands at the Greenhous Meadow.
The 72-year-old's performance at the Greenhous Meadow is one of two mainland Britain gigs ahead of his headline slot at the Isle of Wight Festival.

In a video made while on tour in Las Vegas earlier this year, Rod said: "I am very excited to be performing some of my fantastic songs with the band at Shrewsbury Town Football Club. It's going to be an energetic and colourful show and we will be there!"
